What is your kitchen decor ideas? Kitchen can be said as the heart of our home. This is the room where many tasty food and drinks being served to us. Eating is fun, but cooking has its own excitement to get. We can cook with much more enjoyable feeling if we have such an interesting decor here. There are many types of interior design we can think of such as modern, traditional, or contemporary. Yet, that kind of look is already common. Why not trying something different? In this case, using a certain theme to our kitchen sounds legit, doesn’t it? We have two kinds of theme written in this article, which we think to be quite unique.
Loveable Beach Theme
Our first theme is beach. Who does not love hanging around the beach? This is a place where people can play, swim, or else joyfully. That joy factor is the reason why we choose this theme to be one of our kitchen decor ideas. So, let’s begin. Imagine one kitchen all in white color. Combine this color with soft blue and white cabinets. White is on the frames and shelves, and blue is one the doors and drawers. For the ocuntertops, try to find the one in dark blue color to give a gradiant touch with the soft blue. Place three or four wooden chairs near the kitchen island. To support the theme, we can make a use of mozai backsplash which have ocean waves image on it. Illuminate the room with three pendant lightings made of webbing straw. We can also place a ceiling fan too to have some breeze around.
Relaxing Coffee Theme
The second theme is related to coffee. Have you ever visited a coffee shop? This is a popular place around the globe to visit. People go there with different reasons like relaxing, chatting, or even focusing on their job. If you ever realize, most shops are decorated in dark colors, and we will take that as an example for kitchen decor. Let’s start with painting the kitchen half in black and half in white. The black color refers to the coffee itself, while white is for the milk. About the cabinets, use the same colors as well. The twist is that the black color on the doors is painted with chalkboard paint. By that, we can write something on it just like the chalkboard menu on coffee shop. As an example, we can write mugs on one of the doors so people will know that is the place for mugs. So, no need to search around for things (e.g. plates, spoon and fork, or bowls) we want to use.
