Concrete countertops are especially made for those who love to cook and to withstand the burden of many appliances placed on top of it. Compared to other countertops, concrete countertop has unlimited options to be styles in any kinds of style. Concrete countertop can be styles in different dyes and stains. It can even be made to look similar to other types of countertops such as quartz, granite, or even marble. So, you can freely choose any kind of look for your concrete countertops.

The Cons
As I said before, concrete countertops also have its own disadvantages that will prevent some people to use it as their countertop. One of the biggest disadvantages of concrete countertop is that it cost a lot more than some of the other types of countertop. In order to get a high quality concrete countertop that will last for a long time you need to reach deeper inside your purse. Of course it can be cheaper but the quality would also be less than it should be. The fact that it has to be installed professionally also adds to the cost of having to install concrete countertops. Another disadvantage is that you have to style concrete countertops in order for it to look decent since the materials used to make concrete countertops are very porous and can be damaged if not treated correctly. The cost of sealing the concrete countertops in your house will also add a significant amount to the overall amount needed to build your kitchen.
